The NATO Association of Canada Launches Its Summer Internship Program

The NATO Association of Canada is delighted to announce the start of its summer 2023 internship program.

With the launch of the summer internship, the NATO Association of Canada welcomes ten new interns to the team:

Aryan Aggarwal

Danté Benjamin-Jackson

Matthew D’Amico

Megan Keli

Meverest Lin

Mark Davis Madarang Pablo

Aly Sayani

Riya Shah

Aimee Tymkin

Sarah Wilczynski

During the 14-week internship, interns become a part of a part of the NATO Association of Canada’s larger community and contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives intended to cultivate new skills and deepen their awareness of NATO and international affairs and security. Interns also have the opportunity to attend events, networking sessions, professional development talks, and contribute to the website.

The internship program has existed since the 1990s. In that time, the program has mentored and provided relevant training to scores of young professionals with an interest in international affairs.

The long-running and far-reaching internship program is a core and valued component of the NATO Association of Canada’s public outreach. “I’m absolutely thrilled with the creativity and enthusiasm of our interns this summer—the calibre of our team will allow us to connect with Canadians of all walks of life and engage them about the value of security and the importance of NATO,” said Robert Baines, president and CEO of the NATO Association of Canada.
