This aftphotoernoon in the Albany Club’s Sir John A. MacDonald Room the NATO Council of Canada was proud to host the producer and cast of The Two Worlds of Charlie F. This poignant stage production employs drama and dark humour to give the audience a glimpse of what life is like for injured veterans after they return from war. The play serves to shed light on the many issues that face our service men and women as they readjust to life at home.

General Tom Lawson, Chief of Defence Staff
expresses gratitude for the project: “The Two Worlds of Charlie F. is about pain, loss, hope and overcoming adversity. While the story may be based on the individual and collective experiences of soldiers serving with the British Armed Forces, there are common themes and lessons for our own brothers and sisters in arms, their families, co-workers, communities and the professionals who support them. In other words, there is something for all of us in this production. I am very thankful to The Two Worlds of Charlie F. Project for its tremendous work on this subject.”

Dominic Cavendish of the UK Telegraph praises the production: “The Two Worlds of Charlie F. presented those lucky enough to attend either of its two performances with the simple sight and sound of injured servicemen and women sharing their stories, their battle scars, their pain for two gripping hours”

 The NATO Council of Canada expresses its gratitude to all involved in making this production a reality, and for creating a positive venue, which promotes an increased awareness of Veteran issues and the myriad and complex challenges facing our injured soldiers.

The Two Worlds of Charlie F is playing at the Princess of Wales Theatre, 300 King Street West from February 25 – March 9, 2014.
