The NATO Council of Canada would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the Toronto Port Authority and Bankers Petroleum for helping us to present to you the forum on Investment and Business Opportunities in South Eastern Europe. This forum brings together senior representatives from both public and private organizations within South Eastern Europe to highlight trade and investment potential by identifying specific projects and opportunities. Without the generous contributions of our presenting sponsor, the Toronto Port Authority and our Platinum sponsor, Bankers Petroleum, this valuable event would not be possible.

Every year the NATO Council is proud to bring Canadians engaging educational programming that highlights the importance of national defence and Canada’s role in international relations. This programming includes:

Along with other conferences and forums, our roundtable speaker series gathers Canada’s top military, academic, and industry leaders to discuss pertinent issues which face our nation in securing our future.

Engaging with Canadian Youth

The Council encourages Canadian youth to take an interest in international relations and defence by visiting high schools, holding essay contests and serving as a springboard for interns to launch successful careers.interns

NATO Centre Tours

Every year the council organizes a tour of a NATO centre somewhere in North America or Europe

NATO Council of Canada Website

The NATO Council of Canada website is a valuable resource for Canadians to learn about issues affecting our country. Our Interns, Junior Research Fellows and Contributors research and write compelling articles which highlight the Canadian perspective on a wide range of topics relating to peace, security and international relations. This not only gives them the opportunity to learn about the subject matter but also serves as a valuable resource for all Canadians to learn more about the importance of Canada’s defence industry in promoting peace worldwide.

As a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, it is only through the generous contributions of sponsors, donors and members that the NATO Council of Canada is able to carry out its mandate: To promote knowledge and understanding of international peace and security and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Canada. It is vital that Canadian businesses and individuals understand the value in supporting the work that the NATO Council of Canada does so that this valuable resource isn’t lost.
