Listen as I interview Busra Hazal Karasu. She is the Program Editor of the Canadian Armed Forces here at the NATO Association of Canada. Busra completed her BA at McGill University in Political Science and Sociology with a focus on comparative politics and political psychology. Busra has international experience having spent two summers in Belgium interning at a Brussels-based law firm, which deepened her interest in European and international law and two summers in Istanbul as a EU Affairs Intern while working part-time at the Istanbul Jazz Festival. Before joining the NAOC team, she served as an intern at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Ottawa. Busra is trilingual and her research interests include politics of ethnic relations and nationalism, Turkish foreign policy, and regional security in the Middle East.
