Sign up for an unforgettable tour to Albania, Macedonia and Turkey with NATO!!! During this trip you will experience the contrast between Old and New NATO members in the Eastern Mediterranean.
While you are there, you will be given insight into the policies of Albania, Macedonia and Turkey towards the Middle East region, while also visiting some of the most beautiful places the three countries have to offer. Over the course of the tour you will able to attend briefings with high level political and military officials, while also being accompanied by experts of these countries who give you additional information about NATO activity.

General information
The NATO Council of Canada proudly presents a unique opportunity to tour Albania, Macedonia and Turkey along with a special pre briefing at CFB Trenton on Canadian Military Equipment and Operations Internationally.
Our tour will travel to Albania, Macedonia and Turkey to learn of their armed forces and international operations. You will have the opportunity to try out their equipment as well as receive briefings on their operations.
The content of the tour will focus on political & economic features of the countries visited along with their relationships with NATO and the sophistication of their military equipment and training. Our tour provides economy air, single accommodations as well as all meals.

Itinerary
17 Sep – Optional tour of CFB Trenton for an overview of Canadian international operations and equipment.
28 Sep – Overnight flight to Istanbul Turkey.
29 Sep – After your arrival from Toronto you will fly to Tirana, Albania arriving at 1945 hrs.
30 Sep – Morning briefing on the Albanian Armed Forces and their contribution to NATO operations.
01 Oct – Morning briefing on Albanian Army operations and support to NATO Operations.
02 Oct – Bus from Tirana to Skopje Macedonia leaving in the morning arriving in Skopje late afternoon.
03 Oct – Briefing on the Macedonian Armed Forces complete with a visit to their Ranger Battalion called the Wolves.
04 Oct – Morning fly Skopje to Istanbul with an afternoon tour of historical Istanbul including fortifications and Church of Sofia.
05 Oct – Morning briefing on the Turkish Armed Forces including operations in support of NATO, and on the geopolitical situation in Turkey and the Middle East, by Col. Christopher Kilford, Ph.D., of the Canadian Embassy in Ankara.
06 Oct – Our return home as we fly to Toronto from Istanbul to arrive in the late afternoon Toronto time.
