Listen as I interview the Honorable Nazifa Langaryan. She is the first ever-female Consul General to serve as the Consulate of Afghanistan in Toronto, Canada. Ms. Langaryan successfully completed a Master’s in Public Administration at California State University as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Kabul University in Afghanistan in Law and Political Science. Ms. Langaryan served as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is the highest- level position achieved by a female. Ms. Langaryan also served as the Vice-Consul at the Afghanistan Consulate in Los Angeles, California from 2006 until 2010. Some of her prior experience includes Management in the Civil Law Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Consulate Department. Consul General Ms. Langaryan was also a Law Professor at Amahahat Ull-Momeneen University in Kabul, Afghanistan.
