Talk to a Diplomat: Episode I

The first episode of Talk to a Diplomat has been released!

Our special guest this week is the Consul General of Hungary in Toronto, Dr. Szabó Stefánia.

Hungarian names place the family name first and the personal name second, so the proper style of referral is Dr. Szabó, which I follow throughout the episode.

You can click the player below to listen to our first episode, or download it from iTunes by searching ‘NATO Council of Canada’. Safari users will need to download the file first, while Firefox and Chrome users can play it in their browsers.

For additional information about the Hungarian Consulate’s activities and upcoming events, you can check out their website here.

For anyone interested in the Ruin Pubs, read more from the BBC here, or from a travel website here.

Correction: At 4:26, I incorrectly refer to the Consulate handling visa issues. All visas for Hungary go through the Embassy in Ottawa.
