Natalya Nelson is a Master of Global Affairs candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, with a focus on global security and foreign policy.
She is a Program Editor for the Indo-Pacific and NATO Program at the NATO Association of Canada, where she supports publications on security dynamics between NATO and Indo-Pacific partners. She has previously served as a research policy intern, research assistant, and political staffer, gaining experience across policy research and government.
Her areas of expertise include strategic competition, alliance-building, and the role of international institutions in responding to emerging global threats. Natalya is particularly interested in how states coordinate across regions to address shared security challenges in an increasingly complex and multipolar international system.
