Representatives from the NATO Council of Canada have been invited to participate in the University of Toronto Mississauga, Department of Economics’ internship presentations. The invitation has been extended in appreciation of the internship and mentoring provided to outstanding UTM economics student, Anderson Christie. This event allows senior students to showcase their skills and 
experiences by speaking to attendees about research and specific projects from their internship placements in the business community. Mr Christie will be giving a presentation at the event about his work with the NATO Council and how the experience has benefitted him.
The NATO Council of Canada is pleased to be able to provide mentoring and internship opportunities and we are immensely proud of the achievements of our interns.
The NCC internship program serves as a springboard for young professionals to launch successful careers in international affairs and international trade. Our commitment to the success of our interns is supported by three pillars:
Communicate: The modern economy is all about connections, which is something the NATO Council of Canada can provide. Ministers, NATO, Councils, Politicians, and some of Canada’s top companies are already engaged with our mission.
Participate: Interns hone their organizational skills with the NATO Council of Canada by writing articles and presenting, participating & debating current events.
Engage: Our interns help us to grow by expressing themselves in a variety of roles: Social Media Marketing, Editor, Brand Marketing, and Production.
NCC interns have gone on to successful careers in: governments, international organizations, the defence and publishing industries, embassies and consulates.
