Joseph De Sapio

Joseph De Sapio received his doctorate in history from the University of Oxford in 2011, and is the author of Modernity and Meaning in Victorian London (2014), as well as a variety of scholarly articles exploring globalisation in a British imperial context.  Since 2018, he has taught both Project Management and Communications at Fanshawe College.  He is currently a student at the Balsillie School of International Affairs, where his research interests examine the ability of multilateral institutions to adapt to antiglobalisation and illiberal movements in the post-Cold War Western political environment.  In his spare time, he volunteers with the Sea Cadets, and has been teaching himself Russian.  He hopes to use his experience at NAOC to further develop a career in policy analysis.
