We’re back!
Listen as I interview the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Toronto, Mr. Erdeniz Şen about the recent coup attempt. He successfully completed a B.A. in International Relations from the Faculty of Political Science, Ankara University. Mr. Erdeniz Şen also successfully completed his M.A. in International Relations from Gazi Üniversity in Ankara. In addition, he is completing a PhD at Ankara University’s EU and International Relations Programme.
Consul General Mr. Erdeniz Şen served at the Deputy Directorate General for Slavic Countries and the Caucasus at the Turkish Foreign Ministry from 1996-1999. Afterwards, he served as Director of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Cabinet at the Office of the President of the Republic of Turkey between 2004-2007. In addition, she successfully completed Harvard Law School’s Executive Education Program in Negotiation and Leadership. Magdalena is currently completing an LLB through University of London’s International Program. She is passionate about law, government, and charitable non-profit organizations. As an avid researcher, she hopes to extend her research to investigate women in security while examining society, culture, and international relations. In addition, Magdalena is also passionate about international business and economy. She is very excited about being involved with various projects at NATO, specifically engaging youth and society about international affairs. Apart from a love of politics, Magdalena enjoys fine art, ballet, and classical music.
