Watch as I interview Professor Robert Austin with Aishwarya Sahai, Program Editor of Expanding Community at the NATO Association of Canada. Professor Robert Austin is an Associate at the Centre for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at the University of Toronto. Professor Robert Austin is a specialist on East Central and Southeastern Europe. Previously, he wrote news for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Toronto and he was a correspondent with The Economist Group of Publications. Professor Robert Austin has written articles for the Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, Southeast European Times, Orbis, East European Politics and Societies, and East European Quarterly. In addition, he has numerous books that have been published. “Founding a Balkan State” is one of his recent books which was published with the University of Toronto Press. The Hungarian Studies Program, Hellenic Studies Program, and Undergraduate European Studies are a few Programs that have been coordinated by Professor Robert Austin.
Professor Robert Austin completed a Ph. D at the University of Toronto, an M.A. in History at the University of Toronto as well, and a B.A. in Political Science at Carleton University. Professor Robert Austin discusses the significance of the transitional justice system in the Albania State. He also explains the impact that the crisis involving Greece will have on Europe.
