Incha Hussain

Incha is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Security, specializing in Asia
and Diplomacy, at Sciences Po Paris. Her work focuses on global security, human rights,
and the politics of information, with a particular interest in how restrictions on fundamental
freedoms can undermine international stability and pose major security challenges.
She is currently a Human Rights Project Officer at Orange, where she works on integrating
human rights considerations into global operations, particularly around freedom of
expression, child labor, and access to information, with a focus on their implications for
international security and responsible business conduct in sensitive or high-risk contexts.
She previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Regional Studies in
Islamabad, contributing to research on South Asian security. She also gained institutional
experience at the European Parliament and the OECD, focusing on inclusion and
international cooperation. In parallel, she has been actively involved in civil society projects
related to digital inclusion, migrant rights, and diversity. With a range of experiences across
sectors and regions, and fluency in several languages, she brings a nuanced, globally
informed perspective to security issues one that is both interdisciplinary and deeply rooted
in local and international dynamics.

The NAOC has had a leading role in the recent transformation and modernization of the ATA, and helped to create and develop the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA).

    The NAOC has strong ties with the Government of Canada including Global Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence. We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, NATO Headquarters, the International Criminal Court, and other prominent international NGOs and think tanks.
