Bonnie Lao is a Research Analyst at the NATO Association of Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in Peace, Conflict, and Justice Studies and Health Studies. Her interests lie in contemporary East Asian politics, trade, security, and its ramifications on the liberal international order. She will be spending the 2020-2021 year in Beijing as a Canada-China Scholar before returning to North America for her master’s degree.
