David Carhart

David Carhart holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western University with a specialisation in Finance, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Toronto Metropolitan University. This combination of training in both quantitative analysis and historical inquiry has shaped a deep interest in public policy, international relations, and the critical role that international institutions play in maintaining peace and stability.

With a background that bridges the financial and historical perspectives on global affairs, David brings an interdisciplinary approach to the examination and promotion of Canada’s role within the transatlantic alliance. He is particularly interested in increasing awareness of how economic policy, historical precedent, and institutional design intersect to inform decision-making in the international system.

At the NATO Association of Canada, David contributes to the organization’s mission of promoting peace, prosperity, and security through education and engagement. His work reflects a commitment to fostering informed discussion about the challenges and opportunities Canada faces on the world stage, and to highlighting the continued importance of cooperative international frameworks in addressing complex global issues.
