Tim Crincoli

Tim Crincoli is a policy and international relations professional with cross-sectoral experience in international organizations, government, and civil society. In addition to starting as an Engagement Coordinator, he currently works as a Policy Analyst at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). Tim holds a Master of Development Practice from the University of Waterloo, specializing in international affairs and public policy, building on a Bachelor’s degree in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa.

Tim recently completed a policy internship at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, where he worked on science and technology policy guidance and supported a high-level workshop with Thai policymakers working toward net-zero emissions in several sectors. His prior experience includes work at Statistics Canada, where he contributed to COVID-19 survey production and information sharing. While working for the Campbell Collaboration, Tim authored two major reports and evidence maps used to inform policy in Pakistan and Malawi. In this role, Tim collaborated with government representatives, civil society, researchers, private sector actors, and international organizations to support Malawi’s National Development Strategy.

As a delegate at the 2024 United Nations Summit of the Future, Tim represented Afflican and the Global MDP in high-level discussions on digital governance, the SDGs, and multilateralism. Tim’s work reflects his commitment to bridging evidence and policy to advance sustainable, inclusive, and cross-sectoral solutions to global challenges.

The NAOC has had a leading role in the recent transformation and modernization of the ATA, and helped to create and develop the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA).

    The NAOC has strong ties with the Government of Canada including Global Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence. We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, NATO Headquarters, the International Criminal Court, and other prominent international NGOs and think tanks.
