Kelly Christine Wong

Kelly Christine Wong holds a MA (2018) in Human Rights and Democratisation from the Global Campus of Human Rights and Uppsala University, with a focus in Security and Constitutional Law. Following her studies, she completed an internship at the International Criminal Court in The Hague and subsequently advanced from intern to consultant at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

A professional specialising in intelligence, international security, international affairs, and global governance, Kelly’s experience spans international organisations, government institutions, and the private sector. Her career has included work with a renowned risk advisory firm in London, UK and the Senate of Canada, where she contributed to security, travel risk advisory, dignitary protection and strategic planning initiatives. She currently leads a government security program for a major organisation, providing strategic oversight of security programs, high-value federal and defence portfolios, stakeholder engagement, and the protection of critical operations and assets.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Kelly is actively engaged in governance and community leadership. She also serves as 2nd Vice-President of the McGill Women’s Alumnae Association and is on the Constitution and Resolutions Committee of the Montreal Council of Women. Through these roles, she supports organisational governance, policy development, and initiatives that advance leadership, education, and civic engagement.

In recognition of her contributions to the security profession and leadership within the sector, Kelly was named one of Canadian Security’s Top 10 Under 40 in 2025. She is also committed to mentoring students and emerging professionals from around the world, helping them pursue international academic, professional, and leadership opportunities
