Huda Kashif

Huda Kashif is the Grant Coordinator at the NATO Association of Canada, where she supports funding initiatives that advance public education and policy programming on international security and global affairs.

She is a second-year student at the University of Toronto specializing in International Affairs, with a major in Economics and a minor in French. Her academic interests include public policy, international security, and international cooperation, with a focus on how funding and research support effective governance.

Beyond her academic work, Huda is actively involved in student leadership and community organizing. She serves as Co-President of the UTM Young NATO Club and has held roles in fundraising and communications across nonprofit and policy-oriented organizations, contributing to initiatives that have raised significant funds for education and community development.

Passionate about strengthening informed dialogue on global issues, Huda aspires to support policy research and funding strategies that enable inclusive and impactful engagement on international security and governance.

The NAOC has had a leading role in the recent transformation and modernization of the ATA, and helped to create and develop the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA).

    The NAOC has strong ties with the Government of Canada including Global Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence. We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, NATO Headquarters, the International Criminal Court, and other prominent international NGOs and think tanks.
