Amoly Agarwal

Amoly Agarwal is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics at the University of Toronto, with a focus on global governance, international security, and political economy. She has worked internationally in both Canada and India, giving her firsthand experience with the policy challenges that affect countries at different stages of development and insight into how international cooperation can address them.

In India, Amoly contributed to evidence-based policymaking at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL South Asia) and regulatory compliance at Vodafone India. In Canada, she conducted research with the G20 Research Group on global economic governance and international cooperation. At the University of Toronto, she served as Vice President Internal of Victoria University’s Students’ Administrative Council, overseeing operations, large-scale events, and initiatives to foster engagement and dialogue.

Her academic and professional background reflects a commitment to bridging policy implementation, governance, and practice. Amoly is passionate about advancing international cooperation and security, with a particular interest in the role of multilateral institutions like NATO in responding to complex global challenges.

The NAOC has had a leading role in the recent transformation and modernization of the ATA, and helped to create and develop the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA).

    The NAOC has strong ties with the Government of Canada including Global Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence. We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, NATO Headquarters, the International Criminal Court, and other prominent international NGOs and think tanks.
