Fatima Nanavati

Fatima Nanavati was the Director of Media and Communications at the NATO Association of Canada and also focuses on Conference Coordination. Continuing her education, she is a student from Toronto, Canada aspiring to be an International Lawyer. She has recently returned from a year of study and work abroad in Paris and will be moving to Manhattan in order to complete her degrees. Fatima is currently earning a major in Politics, as well as a double minor in Law and Society, and Policy and Management, at New York University. As a proud philanthropist and adventuring-nomad, Fatima is traveling to India, Guatemala, and Morocco in order to pursue charitable works with her organization, Fear Liberated International. With this, she has newly submitted and presented her research on ‘Breaking the Cycle of Poverty Using Civil Society as a Handy Tool’ to the International Journal of Arts and Science. She will be continuing her works, globally, with high hopes of reaching all of her goals and aspirations.

The NAOC has had a leading role in the recent transformation and modernization of the ATA, and helped to create and develop the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA).

    The NAOC has strong ties with the Government of Canada including Global Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence. We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, NATO Headquarters, the International Criminal Court, and other prominent international NGOs and think tanks.
