June 20, 2013 – NCC Fundraising Golf Tournament

For the past few years, The NATO Council of Canada (NCC) has been holding a fundraising Golf
Tournament, to bring people together in pleasant surroundings for an enjoyable day of Golf, ending with a
dinner, an informative presentation by a keynote speaker and some excellent prizes. The Golf Tournaments
have developed into an excellent tradition for raising awareness about the NCC and Canada’s role in NATO.
At the tournament, NCC directors, members and other guests spend time together in a less formal setting.
This year, the Fundraising Golf Tournament will take place on June 20 at the fabulous Lionhead Golf &
Country Club.

About KaneffGolf

The KaneffGolf Group consists of six golf facilities that are situated in the Golden Horseshoe between Brampton and Niagara.
Lionhead, the flagship, consists of two top-ranked, award winning courses, the Legends and its sister, the Masters. KaneffGolf is committed to offering the public the finest golf value in Ontario. It is our goal to meet or exceed the expectations of each guest that visits a KaneffGolf course.

Lionhead Golf & Country Club

Lionhead’s beautifully landscaped grounds incorporate the natural beauty of meadows, wetlands, forests and natural foliage on 520 acres of land. Designed and groomed to excite every level of golfer, Lionhead offers its guests one of
Ontario’s finest golfing experiences on two championship courses.

For those who appreciate a course that will challenge every club in your bag Lionhead recommends the Legends, a
difficult and demanding layout set amongst steeply rolling terrain, wooded ravines and the picturesque Credit River. For golfers who prefer a vigorous but slightly less demanding course, the Masters fits the bill as a Florida type course with unique bunkers and scenic ponds on several holes. Your golfing experience at Lionhead is further enhanced by our award winning service.

You will enjoy such complimentary amenities as:

  • Valet service to the Pro Shop
  • Golf carts
  • Full service locker room with oak lockers
  • Access to lounge, dining room, halfway house and refreshment carts
