Bezhan Safah describes the NATO Afghanistan mission, and how it changes after 2014

Bezhan Safah is an undergraduate student of Public Policy & Administration at York University in Toronto. He has worked for the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) under the NATO command in North West Afghanistan from 2004 – 2008 as a linguist and cultural advisor. During his time of engagement with the international community organizations, he has worked with multiple international development organizations, including USAID.
He has deep interests in international relations and politics, and actively follows the world’s political evolutions such as the crisis in the Middle East, Ukraine, and the Afghan Presidential Election taking place on April 5, 2014. Also, as an Afghan-Canadian, he is profoundly interested in writing articles about both Canadian and Afghan politics, through which he wishes to engage youth in important political discourse in Canada and Afghanistan. His next writing project is a book called “In Pursuit of the Canadian Dream.”
