The NATO Council NATO Briefing Tour
We are inviting leaders from many different walks of life, including industry, national affairs and academia to our 2012 NATO Study Tour. NATO will finalize the itinerary closer to the date but it will probably include: NATO Headquarters – tour and briefing; Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) with stop at Waterloo; Canadian Embassies to NATO and to the European Union; Visit to Geilenkirchen, Germany to see Airborne Warning and Control Systems aircraft (AWACS); and visits to the OECD and Canadian Embassy to France.
When: September 22-29, 2012.
Where: 4 nights in Brussels and 2 nights in Paris.
Fees: $4,500 – Costs include: Economy class return flight from Toronto, hotel (based on single occupancy), breakfast, and ground transportation in Europe.

As a leading member of the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA), NATO Association of Canada has strong and enduring ties with sister organizations in many of the alliance countries, as well as members of NATO’s “Partnership for Peace” and “Mediterranean Dialogue” programmes. The NAOC has had a leading role in the recent transformation and modernization of the ATA, and helped to create and develop the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA).
The NAOC has strong ties with the Government of Canada including Global Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence. We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, NATO Headquarters, the International Criminal Court, and other prominent international NGOs and think tanks.
