NATO Council NATO Tour!

Invitation to the 2011 NATO Council Delegation to NATO – NATO Study Tour

September 25th – October 1st
We are inviting leaders from many different walks of life, including industry, national affairs and academia to join our Chairman, The Hon. Bill Graham PC, QC, on our 2011 Fall NATO Study Tour. NATO has programmed the schedule below and more specific details of the itinerary will be forthcoming as they are confirmed with the offices and embassies involved.

The aim of the delegation is twofold:

1) To provide delegation members with comprehensive and up-to-date information about NATO, its structure, policies, activities, and relations with Canada and other key partners;

And

2) To represent the NATO Council of Canada at NATO headquarters and maintain the many important relationships the Council has with NATO representatives.

Tour highlights include:

NATO Headquarters – tour and briefing

Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) with stop at Waterloo

Canadian Embassies to NATO and to the European Union – EU briefing

Visit to Geilenkirchen, Germany to see Airborne Warning and Control Systems aircraft (AWACS)

Visits to OECD and Canadian Embassies to France and OECD

Enjoy Belgian and Parisian cuisine and ambiance

 

COST:  $4,500 per person

Costs include: Economy class return flight from Toronto, hotel (based on single occupancy), breakfast, ground transportation in Europe.
