Tank Saturdays 2024, The Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum

“Tank Saturdays” is one of Canada’s leading military history event series, and one of few of its kind in the world. At each full-day event, visitors will enjoy the rare immersive learning opportunity of combining museum exhibits, hands-on activities, military vehicle rides, and a live demonstration show featuring a selection of tanks and armoured fighting vehicles in action as they demonstrate the capabilities that they used to defend their home countries throughout the 20th century. In recognition of NATO’s 75th anniversary, this year’s “Tank Saturday” program will feature several themes that will showcase NATO’s role in conflicts and peacekeeping since its inception. Visitors will be able to see NATO vehicles from the museum’s collection in action at the following events:

  • February 10, 2024: Tank Saturday: Winter Warfare
  • May 11, 2024: Tank Saturday: Evolution
  • July 26–28, 2024: Aquino Tank Weekend
  • September 14, 2024: Tank Saturday: Afghanistan
  • October 19, 2024: Tank Saturday: Armageddon
