NCC on the Road

High School Presentation

The centerpiece of the NATO Council’s Outreach Program is a 75 minute power point presentation facilitated by NCC’s selected university students. This short presentation is offered as a means to inform students of the past, present and future of NATO. It is an opportunity for high school students to learn about NATO through the enthusiasm of other youth. The presentation will not only aid in sparking the interest of high school students in NATO but will also compliment the current curriculum in Canadian history, politics, and world studies that is being taught at the high school level.

If you are interested in having someone come to your school to make the NATO presentation please contact the NATO Council of Canada or our Outreach Program Coordinator, William Simmons at 416-979-1875 or by email at william.simmons@atlantic-council.ca.

The NATO Council is pleased to share that we have recently presented at the following schools:

  • Bur Oaks Secondary School, Markham
  • Central Technical School, Toronto
  • Goderich District Collegiate Institute, Goderich
  • Innisdale Secondary School, Barrie
  • Iroquois Public School, Oakville
  • Newtonbrook, North York
  • St. Clements School, Toronto
  • St. Thomas Aquinas, Oakville
