Dunja (Donna) Popovic is a contributor with the Atlantic Council of Canada, Expanding Community Program. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Peace and Security from King’s College London in London UK, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree, with majors in Politics, International Relations and Law from Carleton University in Ottawa. She has spent time studying and working abroad and has been
involved in various research projects, particularly with Leeds University in the UK and the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Security Studies. Her research interests include strategy and contemporary warfare, terrorism and non-state actors, and the political economy of natural resources.
