A recent graduate from the University of Toronto, Matthew D’Amico, is currently completing his M.A. in Global Politics at McMaster University. Matthew’s research interests include the “new-shoring” of critical industries as they relate to global crises, and he is currently focusing on a major research project regarding the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board’s risk exposure to China. Additionally, he was a member of both the University of Toronto and McMaster Varsity Rowing Teams and served as Men’s Captain for the former. Matthew has previous experience in the Federal Public Service with Public Safety Canada and is interested in pursuing a future career in government and politics.
