Anjana is a second-year student in an Honours Political Science and Juris Doctor program at the University of Ottawa. Anjana aspires to work at the intersection of international relations, equality and business. She has worked on several NGOs and community projects, including Senator Mcphedran’s youth advisory – the Canadian Council of Young Feminists. Anjana is also a research intern at the Rideau Institute. Her research focus is on gun violence in Canada, with a view of possible policy implications. On-campus, she is lead of operations for Sprout, which addresses food insecurity in food desserts around Ottawa.
