Meverest Lin is going into her second year as an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, Victoria College, hoping to pursue a double major in International Relations, Peace Conflict and Justice, or Criminology and Biodiversity and Conservation. As a Chinese-Canadian immigrant, her specific areas of interest revolve around democracy, human rights, Chinese foreign and domestic policies, as well as China’s relations with the international community. She was born and raised in Beijing until the age of 10, moved to Vancouver for school, and is now based in Toronto. As an intern at the NATO Association of Canada, her field of focus is social media engagement and article writing. Meverest is excited to join the intern team for the NATO Association of Canada, and to support its mission of promoting peace, prosperity, and security through knowledge and understanding of the importance of NATO.
