Delegate Resources

Position Paper Policy

NATOSim does not require delegates to create or submit any type of “position paper” to their committee directors. Each delegate will be assessed on their own level of research and readiness, and extensive personal preparation will naturally enhance a delegate’s committee experience and improve their opportunity to win an award.

Awards

At NATOSim conferences, delegates in each committee will have the opportunity to win one of three awards – Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Honourable Mention. Awards will be determined at the discretion of each committee’s director and will be presented at closing ceremonies.

Rules of Procedure

NATOSim follows most standard Model UN rules of procedure for the purpose of moderating committee discussion.

Refer to the UTMUN rules of procedure for any further clarification.
