Ammna Nasser

Ammna Nasser is a postgraduate of King’s College London’s internationally renowned Department of War Studies. Her research has focused on the broad topic of security, which comprises in-depth studies of topics such as the role of gender in international security and the correlation between terrorism and state failure. During her time at King’s, she has worked on the Middle-East desk with the largest student led policy think tank initiative in Europe. Ammna has also designed and executed on-field research projects in Ghana and Pakistan. Having lived in the Middle-East and Europe, Ammna has recently re-located to Toronto where she is currently volunteering as a Blog Writer for STAND Canada, a youth-led anti-genocide advocacy and TerraNews, a local voice focused on promoting global affairs.
