Karl Ngo is completing an Honours Bachelor Degree in International Development Studies at York University. With an academic concentration in political economy and culture, his focus of studies includes the impact of war and conflict on developmental initiatives in the sub-Saharan African region, as well as the political stability and economic growth in post-conflict zones. During his undergrad, Karl founded the United Nations Student Organization, which aimed to foster debates, and educate students on UN related affairs and ongoing international issues. His academic aspirations include the pursuit of an MA Degree in Conflict Studies, and a PhD in the realm of post-conflict resolution. He hopes to work for Foreign Affairs Canada for post-conflict dialogue in the global south.
