Elliott Simpson

Elliott Simpson graduated from the University of Edinburgh and HEC Paris in 2016 with an honours degree in International Business and French, and is currently halfway through the Master of Global Affairs Program at the Munk School at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining the Munk School, Elliott spent three years consulting Canada’s public sector with Deloitte Canada, and one year managing Ritual Technologies’ launch in Montreal. NATO specifically, and global security in general have both always been a focus of Elliott’s, and time spent in the Master of Global Affairs Program has served to deepen this interest. While at the NATO Association of Canada, Elliott is looking forward to writing about Canada’s role in the organization, and its relationship with NATO partners. Elliott is a passionate outdoorsman, having spent many summers climbing and living in areas such as Greenland, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Oman. In addition to his fellowship at the NATO Association of Canada, Elliott also has a role at an Arctic-focused think tank, and is looking forward to joining the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves later this year.

    Elliott Simpson is a Junior Research Fellow at the NATO Association of Canada. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh and HEC Paris in 2016 with an honours degree in international business and French, and is currently pursuing a Master of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy.
