Alicia Menzies

Alicia Menzies was the Media Relations intern at the NATO Association of Canada. She is in her final year of studies at George Brown College in the Business Administration- Marketing program. She has a particular interesting using her education and skills in marketing to make an impact in the not-for-profit sector. She has represented George Brown in both the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition and the Vanier BDC Case Study Challenge. Alicia was previously an intern at Basic Funerals and Alumni Relations of George Brown and is also a member of Enactus where she works on a variety of fundraising projects.

The NAOC has had a leading role in the recent transformation and modernization of the ATA, and helped to create and develop the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA).

    The NAOC has strong ties with the Government of Canada including Global Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence. We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, NATO Headquarters, the International Criminal Court, and other prominent international NGOs and think tanks.
