Antalya Popatia is now a Research Analyst at the NATO Association of Canada. While at the NATO Association of Canada Antalya was the Program Editor for Women in Security and responsible for social media marketing. She graduated from Queens University in 2018 with a degree in Politics and an International Certificate, having spent a year at the UK campus at the Herstmonceux Castle. She has interned with federal and provincial elected representatives in Vancouver and participated in their respective electoral campaigns. She recently completed a Parliamentary Internship and volunteer assignment in Ottawa at Parliament Hill. Antalya’s interests lie in global affairs and international security.

Since the age of 7, she has been an ambassador raising funds for international development and third world poverty. Passionate about social justice issues, Antalya founded the Warming Hearts Foundation, a personal initiative, to support and increase awareness for local homelessness, youth leadership development and anti-bullying. In recognition of her civic and community engagement, Antalya was awarded the Girl Guides Chief Commissioner’s Gold Award and the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
