Jozef Kosc

Jozef Kosc is a Research Analyst at the NATO Association of Canada, a Policy Analyst at the Atlantic Council of the UK, and the President and Founder of UN Youth Canada. A Political Science and History graduate from the University of Toronto, and the 2015 recipient of the University’s John H. Moss Scholarship as the single top graduating senior across all departments and faculties (+33,000 students), Mr. Kosc is now pursuing a Masters in Global Governance & Diplomacy at the University of Oxford (2016).

Focusing on international security, international law and development, Mr. Kosc has worked at the OECD Headquarters, briefed the UK Government on foreign policy, and participated in strategic defence briefings at NATO HQ and at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE). He has represented Canada at various diplomatic venues, including the UNESCO General Conference and the Nuclear Knowledge Summit, and was the 2013 recipient of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) Students for Development Award for his work in pioneering equitable education programs in South Africa. He has previously studied at Sciences Po in Paris, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the University of Cape Town.
