Security Challenges in the Baltic Region: Realities and Perspectives

The NATO Association of Canada is proud to co-host “Security Challenges in the Baltic Region: Realities and Perspectives,” a meeting with Mr. Janis Garisons, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Latvia. As tensions increase between Russia and the Baltic states, it is crucial for NATO to stand with its fellow Balkan allies. Canada, to this end, has sent 455 troops to Latvia as a show of its commitment towards the security of Eastern Europe. We hope this event will encourage further partnerships and dialogue between the Latvian and Canadian communities.
