NATOSim 2019

NATOSim 2019

Introducing NATOSim – an all-new model diplomacy experience aimed at recreating the decision-making process of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Officially hosted in downtown Toronto by the NATO Association of Canada, NATOSim is a one-day conference that provides students with a unique chance to learn more about the structure and values of NATO. Delegates represent NATO member-states, draft resolutions, engage in moderated debate, and master the art of diplomacy and negotiation within the framework of NATO as a multinational military alliance system. Committees focus on the issues facing NATO and its operations today, as well as reenact moments in NATO’s storied history.

As we celebrate the continuing legacy of the alliance and its role in maintaining the rules-based international order, the NAOC invites you to partake in future NATOSim events. Our most recent one was held on August 10th, 2019, at the North York Civic Centre.
