Shahmar Hajiyev is a Leading Advisor at the Center for Analysis of International Relations (Baku). His fields of research include energy politics, energy security issues, renewables, green economy, and business. He has worked as an individual consultant of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Vice-Chairman of the NGO “Azerbaijan-China Cooperation Public Union”. He holds the MA in International Economic and Political Studies from Charles University (Prague) and has published numerous articles on politics, energy security, and related issues.
