Samantha Ford is in Grade 10 at the University of Toronto Schools in Toronto, ON. Her favourite subjects are English and World History and she is an active participant in her school’s speech and debating society and chapter of Best Buddies. Samantha is passionate about sustainable energy and improving women's rights in developing countries. In the future, Samantha hopes to pursue an undergraduate degree in international relations, law or phycology and work for an international institution such as the UN or NATO. Samantha is the first runner-up in the Grade 9 and 10 Category for NAOC's 2016 high school essay competition.
