Rejeanne Lacroix

Rejeanne Lacroix has a BA in Political Science from Laurentian University and an MA in International Security Studies from the University of Leicester, England. Undergraduate education provided Rejeanne with a foundation in political theory and philosophy while her graduate dissertation examined the symbiotic relationship between Russian political security and its relations with the Near Abroad. This broad document examined the securitization of border, military, economic and state security matters. Rejeanne aspires to continue advanced academic research on the post-Soviet space in the future. This builds upon her long term interests focused on the Eurasian region primarily political security, frozen conflicts, military strategy and internal political developments. Generally, she is attentive to topics of security and intelligence that require analysis. Rejeanne has undertaken roles with organizations that have a focus on human rights, international journalism and Eurasian politics. Outside of academia, she enjoys equestrian sports, gardening, promoting the care of house rabbits and learning about languages of the post-Soviet space.
